SUBMISSION OF FILMS: The festival dates for the 7th Cinema on the Bayou Film Festival are January 25-29, 2012. The late deadline for submission of films is November 21, 2011. If you are interested in submitting a film to be considered for screening at our next festival, please send TWO DVD copies of the film to us at the above address along with the following information (there is no submission fee at this time):
1. Film Title, date of completion and a one paragraph synopsis of the film;
2. Filmmakers, including producer and director, and contact information, including address, phone, and e-mail;.
3. Length of film, production format, and presentation format;
4. Previous screenings, including all previous screenings and upcoming screenings in Louisiana, and awards;
5. Press kit, if any; and
6. A signed statement confirming that you are authorized to submit the film, have cleared all intellectual property rights necessary for the screening of the film at this film festival, and hold harmless Cinema on the Bayou from any liability arising from the submission or use of the film.
All submissions become the property of Cinema on the Bayou. DVD's will not be returned unless prepaid postage is provided. If the film is accepted, it is with the understanding that clips, photos and stills of and related to the film may be used to promote the Festival.
